LORENTZ S1-200

Introducing the newest in LORENTZ Consumer Series designed for easy, portable and reliable solar pumping - the LORENTZ S1-200 Solar Pump System.

​The S1-200 can be installed by anyone due to its plug-and-play design, with all electrical connections capable of being connected without the use of any tools. The solar pump can be used for drinking water, livestock or irrigation in isolated and off-grid environments, or locations where interrupted power supply is experienced. As this operates on solar-direct, no batteries are required, making it simpler, more reliable, and more efficient.

The box contains the pump, hose clamp, controller, motor and motor cable with pre-installed connectors. The system can be powered by 200 watts LORENTZ-OPES solar panel optimized for S1 system, and LORENTZ mounting kit that can hold the solar panels and the controller for a quick and reliable installation. ​

Application
The LORENTZ S1-200 pump system is a portable and flexible system designed to pump water using solar power.

The system has an all plugged design for simple customer self installation. All equipment is rated for outdoor use. The system consists of a submersible helical rotor pump attached to a high
efficiency brushless ECDRIVE motor. The system controller digitally controls the motor and monitors the system operation. Inputs are provided for connection of accessories for system automation (dry run protection and tank full sensor).

Output capacity
This system can generate upto 11,000 liters of water per day. Maximum head / elevation is 40 meters.

Why high head pumps make sense for Philippines?

1. A high head pump is climate-proofing the solution for Philippines wherein we experience prolonged summer / dry season / El Nino and well water level / aquifer level goes deeper.
2. Higher head means it will pump water earlier in the morning and later in the afternoon, reducing unwanted heat accumulation in the well that may happen with low head pumps.
3. High head is high pressure, so installing sprinkler in the water pipes can easily be accommodated.
4. As it can lift higher, you have the option to store water in an elevated tank in most instances.
5. It can pump water in more scenarios involving different elevations, so using it as a portable solution would make sense.
