Our experienced installer Verdex does it again by installing a new Lorentz solar pumping system in Occidental Mindoro. The system has a total head of 20 feet from the well, and 14 feet height of the elevated tank. This is churning out an approximate of 16,000 gallons of water per day - not bad for a system that does not need the grid or any type of fuel (just sunlight). Our systems typically run off-grid, but the cool thing about it is that it does not need any batteries. Batteries normally make the system less efficient due to added conversion (electrical-chemical-electrical). It runs on solar direct, pumping out more water during sunnier hours, slows down when sun is weak, and automatically shuts off when there is no sunlight, or the well is dry. To provide 24 hour water, we recommend an elevated water tank to provide pressurized water 24/7 by gravity. The systems can be wired with a float switch too to stop the pump when the tank is full.
Sustainable and environment friendly too because it does not emit smoke, which is always bad for the people near the equipment and our atmosphere. If you're the tech savvy, we can also provide you the version that allows you to monitor and manage the system via any android phone. You can check how much water it has pumped for a certain period, schedule when it turns on and off, regular the RPM, and other things! Sunelec is the exclusive distributor of Lorentz solar pumps in the Philippines. Lorentz is a 23 year old German company specialized in solar pumping, and has the widest range of solar pumps in the world today.
